In continuation of my Despatch No. 133 of the 20th ultimo, I have the honour to transmit the enclosed copies of further despatches which have passed between His Britannic Majesty's Minister at Bangkok and myself on the subject of the prisoner Tong Suk.

2.

Your Lordship will observe that His Majesty's Minister now claims from this Government the sum of Ticals 98.46 being expenses incurred in the removal of Tong Suk from Bangkok to Hongkong. This point had not been previously raised and I fail to see any reason why the revenue of this Colony should bear the charge.
